Past
American folk icons Midlake make a masterful return, with their expansive suspension between radiant folk and contemplative rock.
Texan band Midlake draw their roots from the indie rock scene while infusing it with a modern vision of Americana with expansive guitars, vintage keyboards, and a cinematic atmosphere. Their melodies evoke The Beach Boys, their vocal harmonies: sixties and seventies folk groups. Signed to Bella Union and a rare sight in Europe, they will be at the Alhambra to present their new album A Bridge Too Far.
The Bretheren craft a warm, organic musical world where rock and soul intertwine with cinematic, story-driven songwriting, shaped by a deep sense of collective chemistry.

Hailing from Denton, Texas USA, Midlake is an iconic American folk-rock band. After more than twenty years and numerous landmark albums, they return with A Bridge Too Far, released in November 2025, their sixth album. Exploring hope, humility, and spiritual renewal, the record blends pastoral folk-rock and pure emotion, featuring contributions from Madison Cunningham, Hannah Cohen, and Meg Lui. Midlake continues to evolve, offering timeless and authentic music for this generation.

The Bretheren are a seasoned musician collective, best known as Elle King’s backing band since 2015. Featuring Joey McClellan (guitar, vocals), Paul DeVincenzo (bass), David Scalia (drums), and Dave “Moose” Sherman (keys, vocals), they’re now recording their debut album in Nashville, led by the single “Turn Me On My Own” and guest vocalists. Their sound blends rock, soul, and cinematic storytelling. They also produce for other artists, including The Band Loula.
