Marc Ribot, the unruly guitar legend, lands at Antigel for a spectacular live show where jazz and Latin music collide for a unique aural journey.
Marc Ribot is one of those visionary guitarists. He reinvented jazz by injecting it with Latin-Cubanic shocks and experimental flashes and became a catalyst of influence, shaping entire musical universes alongside Tom Waits and the Lounge Lizards, and in Jim Jarmusch's films. His latest album, Map of a Blue City (2025), cements the Ribot sound's virtuosity. Always instantly recognisable and forever unpredictable, the Marc Ribot experience is one to be lived, above all, in his live performances, conceived as true adventures.
A major figure of New York's experimental guitar scene, Marc Ribot has spent decades traversing the borders between rock, jazz, avant-garde, and Latin music. A key collaborator for Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, and John Zorn, he has produced cult records while maintaining a prolific solo career, from the power trio Ceramic Dog to his more acoustic projects. In 2025, he unveiled Map of a Blue City, a new album that proves his status as one of the most singular and influential musicians of his generation.
