NO ON THE “200 FRANCS IS ENOUGH” INITIATIVE
On March 8, we’re voting on the “200 francs is enough!” initiative—a plan to slash RTS funding.
This directly threatens culture across French-speaking Switzerland, including Antigel! Public broadcasting has given Antigel crucial visibility, spotlighting our teams and artists.
Gutting RTS funding would devastate local culture. What that means:
- Swiss festivals, concerts, and artists lose visibility,
- local cultural and audiovisual creation loses support,
- cultural offerings and information in French-speaking Switzerland get hollowed out.
Culture already faces brutal budget pressures. Weakening public broadcasting weakens the entire ecosystem—from artists to audiences to cultural events across the region.
That’s why Antigel urges a NO vote on “200 francs is enough!”—to protect vibrant, diverse, accessible culture.
