Just when you think you know Sébastien Tellier he reinvents your mind. Tellier, as unique as any original, has earned his iconic status in electro pop over the last two decades. The French multi-instrumentalist now returns in 2026 to the Alahambra stage refreshed with a divine and fresh new guise but the same recognisable style.
Electro pop both in Europe and Internationally owes so much to Sébastian Tellier. From La Ritournelle to Look to Divine; Tellier is the heartbeat of Electro Pop hits. Basking in his half century vintage, Tellier is refreshing the scene with his new single Refresh, a precursor to his new album. After a series of experimental projects, losing himself between illusion and truth, the multi-instrumentalist returns with his own love letter to the pop album, exploring French and English ballad styles and smooth electro pop groove. As with every Tellier album, there is a fresh take on the genre, a new thought provocation and a new romance for fans. Tellier is bringing Kiss The Beast to the Alhambra stage, and we are already filled with wild joy!
A charismatic, layered and multi-talented, quinquagenarian, multi-instrumentalist, auteur Sébastien Tellier has spent two decades working between Paris and London exploring the intersections of pop, folk, and electronica. Representing France at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with Divine, Tellier also left his mark on the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics in 2024. Tellier is more than just a national treasure, he has also collaborated with Daft Punk, toured with Air, produced songs for Dita Von Teese and composed for a host of French films. Following the acclaimed Domesticated in 2020 Tellier returns with a roar in 2026 with Kiss The Beast, a maximalist album featuring input from Nile Rodgers, Kid Cudi and Slayyter, Victor Le Masne, SebastiAn, Daniel Stricker and Oscar Hollter explores our interconnected animal and human nature, musings on the alpha male introspection and dreamy grooves.
