If Twin Peaks were directed by Tarantino, LALOM would be its soundtrack. The instrumental sonidera playing cumbia trio bring the musical vibe of Los Angeles to Plan-les-Ouates.
With LALOM, Plan-les-Ouates takes on the atmosphere of a Californian film. The instrumental trio from Los Angeles draws inspiration from the city's diverse musical genres and cultures to deliver a luminous cumbia soundtrack with a vintage cinema vibe. Rapidly gaining momentum, enthusiasm for LALOM grows by the day. Having made a rare Swiss appearance so far with a single date in Winterthur, the group will come to Antigel to warm up winter.
Formed in Los Angeles in 2021, the trio The Los Angeles League of Musicians otherwise known as LALOM blends cumbia sonidera, 60s soul, and romantic boleros with the sound of Peruvian chicha. Inspired by the vibrant musical atmosphere of Los Angeles, the band provides a cinematic soundtrack to the city. Comprising Zac Sokolow on guitar, Jake Faulkner on bass, and Nicholas Baker on percussion, LALOM released their self-titled debut album in 2024.
