In this shared adventure, audience and performers jump in together, turning the space into an open-hearted artistic celebration. Expect a dance floor, good vibes, and creativity front and centre.

Caught between culture and clubbing? Make a beeline for Karaodance, you get both in one go. As the fever builds, the boundary between stage and audience disappears. Expect a party marathon with dance karaoke, a video booth for filming your own clip, a dress-up room, and pop-up performances everywhere, all fuelled by Collectif Ès. And for an extra dose of chaos, a crew of amateur partners-in-crime jumps in after two days of prep to help stir up the fun.

Amateur dancers, become the performers of the evening! Be the infiltrated accomplices who, through physical empathy, will enable a collective movement of joy, sharing and madness. Try your hand at improvisation to a dance and singing playlist. Explore different ways of dancing/moving: summer hit dance, shaking, foot football, love dance, velvet dance, loop dance, reporter’s camera dance, jellyfish dance…

On Karaodance day, you will be present in the room, like dancing energies spreading from body to body. This experience is an opportunity to experience, in a short space of time, a process of instant creation and direct interaction with the audience. Everyone can let themselves be inspired, soak up the quirky dances that throw the dance floor off balance and, why not, encourage people to dance differently… all while singing!

Sidonie Duret, Jérémy Martinez, and Émilie Szikora are developing an artistic and cultural project through the creation of live performances “experienced by the living”. The physical intensity they bring to their work fosters a sense of bodily empathy, heightening the pleasure of being together. They created Jean-Yves, Patrick et Corinne in 2017, 1ère Mondiale in 2019, Fiasco in 2021, and SHOT in 2022. Alongside their stage productions, they devised Série Populaire, made up of three episodes: I Wanna Dance, Le Karaodance, and Le Loto3000. This series was born from a desire to reinvent familiar, highly codified communal events by placing dance and the body at the heart of the encounter.
