Written for a cinematic show style the Canadian duo present Welcome to the Civilized World. Blending lo-fi aesthetics with post-apocalyptic musings, Ghostwoman, a band who has convinced a whole new generation to dive into rock reminds us that in the face of a broken world, the basics of music can still provide solace.

Ghostwoman was formed in Alberta, Canada by multi-instrumentalist Evan Uschenko, joined in 2022 by drummer Ille Van Dessel. The duo blends psychedelic garage, grunge, and Americana with their singular intuitive and raw approach. Following a self-titled debut in 2022 and Anne, If in 2023, the group returned in 2025 with Welcome to the Civilized World, a cathartic opus designed for the stage. Recorded between Canada and Belgium, the album is a testament to their uncompromising and uncalculated shared vision.
