A car park turning into a park, a warehouse turning into a stage: the future of the PAV is being invented right before your eyes.
The Praille–Acacias–Vernets (PAV) district, one of Antigel’s favourite playgrounds, appears as you’ve never seen it before, and as you’ll never see it again. A major transformation is on the horizon: the MParc La Praille site, now a sprawl of parking spaces and metal hangars, is set to become a vast park threaded with footpaths and trees. Antigel explores the role of culture in this emerging neighbourhood by handing the stage to the next generation. Dancers, skaters, and traceurs from the Urban Move Academy take over ramps, concrete, and aluminium structures with wild, stroboscopic performances, while the Migros distribution centre becomes an unexpected setting for blistering dance shows. Powered by Varoujan Chetirian’s soundtrack and Valérie Poirier’s text, the original creation FUTUROPARC is an explosive journey both socially committed and visionary celebrating culture where you’d least expect it.

The Urban Move Academy is an innovative school in Geneva (since 2022) dedicated to urban arts and sports (parkour, skateboarding, dance). It is a creative and inclusive space where young people are trained using a multidisciplinary approach, combining artistic practice, stage performance and social engagement. Supported by the Montes Alti Foundation, UMA strives for excellence while offering opportunities to motivated and diverse young people.

Nicolas Musin is a choreographer and director of the UMA. A former dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet and the Hamburg Ballet, he now explores the bridges between classical dance, urban arts and sports. A visionary, he founded the UMA to offer young people a place for expression, creation and freedom.

Valérie Poirier, born in 1961 in Rouen and now living in Geneva, is a playwright, author and former actress. Her sensitive writing combines humour, irony and poetry to explore universal themes such as ageing, loneliness and identity. Winner of the Swiss Theatre Prize in 2017, she is also a recipient of the Pro Helvetia Grant.
