A single line stretched across the sky, simple enough to feel universal, powerful enough to bring a whole neighbourhood together.
The tallest tower in the canton, two buildings facing one another, and a perfect straight line of 667 metres suspended above the ground. An ideal playground for world-record slackliner Nathan Paulin. After defying gravity in every corner of the globe, he turns to something more poetic: an experience designed to converse with the iconic architecture of the Lignon neighbourhood. This is the perfect opportunity to find out what it feels like to be so high up, as Nathan Paulin will be in constant contact with Benoît Aymon, legendary RTS journalist and creator of the programme Passe-moi les Jumelles. Down on solid earth, spectators arriving for the event—and passers-by who simply happen to look up—will be treated to music by Swiss ambient master and Young Gods drummer Bernard Trontin, setting the rhythm from start to finish.

Nathan Paulin is a French tightrope walker, specialising in highlining and longlining, born in 1994 and based in Haute-Savoie. He holds several world records, including a 2,240-metre crossing at Mont-Saint-Michel. He performs in choreographed productions, combining extreme sport and artistic performance with choreographer Rachid Ouramdane.

Bernard Trontin, born in Geneva in 1962, is a self-taught drummer, composer and iconic figure on the Swiss music scene. A member of the band The Young Gods since 1997, he combines explosive percussion with contemplative electronic textures. He also collaborates with Michel Wintsch and Polar, and writes for cinema.

Journalist, director, author, photographer, creator of ‘Passe-moi les Jumelles’ (Pass Me the Binoculars), a flagship programme on RTS that he produced for 26 years and which still exists today. A lover of Alpine peaks, Benoît Aymon has won numerous awards at mountain film festivals. In 2019, he was appointed artistic director of FIFAD, the International Alpine Film Festival in Les Diablerets. This year, he is organising its 57th edition.
