A steadfast friend of Antigel, Casimir M explores a more contemplative turn in a solo endeavour; a piano project, suspended between jazz and muted melancholy.
The history between Antigel and Le Roi Angus is a long one. So, when Casimir M, singer and composer of the acclaimed Geneva band, embarks on a solo project, the festival would always welcome him. Venturing into unexpected territory, he unveils a project infused with contemporary jazz, centred on the piano, with a refined and contemplative production. It's an elegant shift that confirms there is truly nothing he cannot do. An artist’s renewal to be discovered at the Caves de Versoix.
Hailing from Geneva, Casimir M first made his name as the singer and composer for the band Le Roi Angus before embarking on a more meditative solo path. His new project places the piano at the forefront, exploring intimacy, silence, and melancholy. Since 2024, he has unveiled a series of tracks with complex arrangements which also feature his voice. His track Les Nuits Brèves has been playlisted by RTS.
